Confession...

Two hurtful trends have emerged in my efforts at this healthy living challenge. While I have been exercising the last two weeks or so, I'm actually gaining weight! I've noticed that my appetite has been greatly increased by all the physical exertion, and in my efforts to get one point, I'm losing my shot at two points. Argh!
The other hurtful trend is the fact that suddenly everyone and their friends are offering me free candy/treats! CRAP! How am I supposed to turn down free food? The end.

You can eat all you want as long as it is fruit and vegetables. You can do it. Our team needs you!

Jeff, I think maybe you are experiencing the "first 2 weeks" syndrome. are you increasing cardio a lot? That's probably why the appetite and weight gain. Possibility #2 might be that you are actually getting more muscle-y and therefore, might weigh more. Watch out USU ladies!!!!!!!! Which reminds me......why aren't we rewarding people for lowering their body-mass index? It's a much better indicator of your fitness than actual weight is.....and it would reward everyone equally, whether they have alot to lose or don't. Just a thought......

Had another corn dog for dinner. Weirdest craving ever!! Don't think the BMI thing is a good idea for me unless I start craving ice.

Yes, but surely your body mass is at least 1/2 baby and things related to creating a human at this point, so you'd probably win the bmi. :)
