Jeff points out that based on the research this article comes from, we are preaching false doctrine. Do you want to change from 7-8 hours to 6.5-7.5 hours?
Q: How much sleep is ideal?
A: Studies show that people who sleep between 6.5 hr. and 7.5 hr. a night, as they report, live the longest. And people who sleep 8 hr. or more, or less than 6.5 hr., they don't live quite as long. There is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at 8 hr. Sleeping 8.5 hr. might really be a little worse than sleeping 5 hr.

I smell a rat. Who wants to live longer if it means you are cranky from not enough sleep. And by the way, are you telling me that my husband is going to kick the bucket sooner than me? (old mr. 9 hours or bust......)
Cite your sources, dude. I'm not buying it. Sleep is from heaven.
Since I have been at Clear Creek and never got 7 hours of sleep, I would love it lower for this week and next. I think I need it down to about 5.5 to get the points I need though.
Don't you think you feel better when you get enough rest? Isn't that the point of this contest?
Well, the article did talk about how sleep needs vary for person to person. So Chad probably needs closer to 9, where as others may need less than 7.
